Professional Photography / 32-week Program

Due to the review process carried out by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority), Spéos cannot indicate as yet the starting date of the Professionnal Photography 32-week program. The program's availability in Dubai will be announced at the appropriate time.
In the meantime, all applications will be posted to Paris. If a student is accepted for the Paris academic year, he/she will have the right to freely transfer his/her enrollment to Dubai as soon as the program is announced locally (the transfer may only apply before the start of the Paris program or at the end of the first semester).

SHORT COURSES




-> Introduction to Studio Photography

- Workshop of 3 hours per day during 5 on-going days, or of 15 hours during 4 on-going weeks.

© Nikolai Wiezorek		In this practically-oriented workshop, participants are introduced to the techniques of studio photography: use of studio equipment, electronic flashes, basic studio lighting techniques, large format cameras, stop system. The course is based on intensive studio practice.

-> Commercial Photography

- Workshop of 3 hours per day during 5 on-going days, or of 15 hours during 4 on-going weeks.
- 2,450 AED

© Natalia KhengJu		This workshop is open to participants with previous studio experience (for example after the workshop Introduction to Studio). Everyday a different commercial studio topic is introduced (basic packshot, metal, glass, culinary, use of different formats, etc.).

-> Portrait Photography

- Workshop of 3 hours per day during 5 on-going days, or of 15 hours during 4 on-going weeks.
- 2,450 AED

© Christian Boulliaux		This workshop is open to participants with previous studio experience (for example after the workshop Introduction to Studio). By shooting portraits that reflect their own sensitivity, participants aim at developing their self-expression. They learn to optimize shooting parameters such as lighting, lenses, cameras, so as to exploit their creative potential to its best.

-> Visual Identity

- Workshop of 3 hours per day during 5 on-going days, or of 15 hours during 4 on-going weeks.
- 2,450 AED

© Pierre Phérivong - Sara Davis		In this workshop participants develop their visual awareness by analyzing the composition of pictures by well-established photographers. Then, moving from the analysis of light, space and object-reality to practical work, the participants experiment with their own visual creativity and shooting techniques.

- Workshop of 3 hours per day during 5 on-going days, or of 15 hours during 4 on-going weeks.

© Meggan Gould		This workshop is an introduction to the digital imaging techniques necessary to meet current market demands. Participants learn how to retouch and transform digital photos with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
